Michael was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota where he spent many a cold winter night reading books and developing an enduring love of stories. When he wasn't reading, he was acquiring an eclectic portfolio of skills including tap dancing, gymnastics, and fencing.
He went on to study acting at The Juilliard School where he received his BFA in Drama, and now resides in Minneapolis where he pursues work in theater, film and television, commercials, and voice over.

Some of Michael's favorite roles on the stage include Chris in All My Sons, Joe Bonaparte in Golden Boy, and Stanley in Brighton Beach Memoirs. Along with his acting career, Michael writes in a multitude of genres and is currently publishing his first book of poetry
